Gwen's Memorial

A celebration of Gwen's life was held on 10th February 2021 at Leonda located on the banks Yarra river in Hawthorn.

The celebration began with a formal Memorial Service hosted celebrant Elizabeth Addison. (A transcript of the service can be obtained by clicking here) This was followed by an informal afternoon tea where those that attended were able to catch up with friends and acquaintences and share their memories of Gwen over a drink or cup of tea, in the beautiful ballroom at Leonda overlooking the Yarra River.

The formal memorial service was also live streamed so that those that could not attend in person could still watch the memorial online. A number of people were able to participate in the celebration in this way. This also meant that the celebration could be captured on video which would allow those that couldn't attend at the time to watch the celebration at a later date.
